Parking Facilities

A BETTER WAY TO BUILD

Precast, prestressed concrete is the material of choice for both above-ground parking facilities and subterranean garages.

Where parking is required under multi-family housing or commercial and office buildings, a Spancrete system of precast columns, beams and plank is a natural, providing a high fire rating and supporting heavy loads while still maintaining minimal floor-to-floor heights.

The preferred system, in the U.S., for above-ground parking facilities is a total precast structure of double tees, columns, beams and exterior load-bearing spandrels. This proven system provides wide open parking spaces, outstanding durability – especially against salts and corrosion – and minimal maintenance. It is less costly that cast-in-place concrete and will trim months from your construction schedule.
